Title bar 2
The answer is C)

Rose Swart, one of the first faculty members at the Oshkosh Normal School, was sought after by other schools before and during her fifty-year tenure at Oshkosh. However, despite receiving several offers, Swart only left the school once to teach a single school year in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a highly valued member of the ONS faculty, teaching education, geography, penmanship, German, and English classes, as well as serving as the Director of Primary Education and the Dean of Women. She was also a leader in the struggle for badly needed salary increases.

Perhaps the most memorable stage of Swart's Oshkosh career began in 1893 with her transition from classroom teaching to student teacher supervision. Her method of honest, often scathing critiques of future teachers was a dreaded trial to her subjects, but it also commanded respect for those who achieved success.
